Cities

I can't upgrade my troop factory!

What I mean by troop factory are the Barracks, Stables, and Workshop. These buildings are Multicell buildings. Please follow the Multicell link to learn more.

My troops can't leave my city to explore!

There is no such thing as exploring, to send your troops out of your own village you must attack someone else, either by going straight to "attack" and inputting the coordinates you want to attack, or by clicking "Valley" then selecting a nearby village and selecting it again on the profile page. ;)

What good does it do to downgrade or demolish a building?

It enables you to get more farm space, for more troops, or to relocate a building. (You also get more points... Though it's not recommended that you demolish and upgrade to get maximum points)

Premium/Gold

Is gold needed to play the game?

No! 1100AD is free to play, Gold simply enhances the game play a bit, and keeps the game up and running.

How do I get Gold?

You get gold by going to this link "Gold purchase", the link can be found in game by clicking on the icon by your (population).

What are the features of Premium?

Profile

Here you change many aspects

• Emblem

For a few gold coins you can upload a new emblem. (Currently not effective)

• Name/Surename

Changing your name is simple. Simply type in what you want as your name and click "OK" when you are done. Same applies for your surname (Last name)

• Birthday/Gender

Your birthday is selected very painstakingly. Click the calendar then select the arrow to go to your month and year, and click the day you were born. Gender is simple, simply select the circle that represents your gender, (male | female) (Oh yes, and select OK when done)

• Email

To change your email simply input it into the box above your current address, remember to select OK when done.

• Motto

Your motto is displayed on your player info page, right under your name.

• Password

To change your password, first input your current password, then type in your new password, then confirm it. Press OK when done.

Army Formations

Notes about formations

• The default formation can not be changed, you must give every formation a different name. If a formation has the same name as a formation already there, it will be overwritten with the new formation.

Interface Language

Change your language to one of 2 languages so far -English -Russian Simply click on the flag and it will change.

Diplomacy

What are Allies?

Allies are (more than likely) friends that you make on the game to help you (Or they could be real life friends you got to join). They "can" help you in battles.

How do you add Allies?

You add allies by going to Settings -> Lists and add allies through there.

What is the Blacklist?

You noticed the blacklist eh? That is where you can block people from messaging you. You can ONLY block people that have sent you messages. (They will be notified that they were blocked, but it wont tell by who. And it wont be very clear that you were blocked)

War/Battles

My army was at siege/robbing in a town, why did they die?

If you do not have an army to protect the army that is robbing or at siege, no matter what the aggression is set to they will not retaliate.

How do I take control of a new town?

First of all, you need a Library.
Second of all, you need to spend resources to get to 100% (equivalent of increasing "Cities you can control currently" by one)
After all that, you must siege a town. To do that, attack a city you want to control, kill all the troops in that town (for safety), put your hero in a party BY HIMSELF and set him to siege the castle. Use the rest of your army to protect him.
To successfully take control of the city, you must protect your hero for 24 hours! If he dies, or you assign him to something else, all progress is lost and you have to try again! So don't ever touch him, and protect him at all costs.
